jon reyman

Jon Reyman – (jonreyman.com)  hair stylist, business owner, educator, and collaborative partner to some of the most influential designers in the industry notably Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta, Nautica, and Carolina Herrera. He leads up to 20 shows during Fashion Week working with teams in New York, London, and Paris. Dubbed the go-to stylist for beauty editors in New York and Los Angeles alike, Jon has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Allure, Refinery 29, The Hollywood Reporter, Into The Gloss, and has made guest appearances on E!, The TLC Network, Access Hollywood, and Bravo TV.

As an educator and business owner, Jon founded Jon Reyman Pro, the most comprehensive online technical curriculum for salons and institutions across the world, and opened Spoke & Weal,a nationally recognized salon business with locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City. Using his technical and creative skills to empower others is what drives Jon further into his career.

More than anything, Jon values utility and simplicity in his work, he sees meaning and beauty in what’s natural and useful.

janell geason

janell geason (janellgeason.com) Aveda Global Artistic Director for Makeup, Janell Geason, is known for her awe-inspiring creativity, her technical expertise, and her innate ability to connect and inspire her students. Janell was awarded the 2008 and 2009 North American Makeup Artist of the Year and was again nominated in 2013. Her work can be seen in publications such as ELLE, Redbook, Lucky and Women’s Health.

Janell began her career working in Minneapolis as a hairdresser after graduating from Horst Cosmetology School. Her desire to further explore her creativity led her to pursue makeup as an art form. She moved to Europe and worked internationally in the fashion, video and print industry for nearly 9 years.

Upon returning to the United States, Janell’s talent and passion for makeup and education led her to the role as Aveda as Global Artistic Director for Makeup.  She travels globally to teach professional makeup artists and do stage presentations.  Her role includes leading education for Aveda makeup, collaborating on seasonal makeup launches, shade animations and products and images. Every spring and fall, Janell works with a multitude of designers as a lead makeup artist at New York Fashion Week.

dusty rhodē

dusty rhodē  (dustyrhode.com)  believes that learning never ends and that it must be shared. At the early age of 15 he was already focused on becoming the next great hairdresser, so he joined the Aveda institute in 1997 and graduated top of his class. Today Dusty continues to learn personal and professional lessons that apply not only to the way he lives and raises his family, but how he gives back to the professional salon industry.

Dusty’s has trained at the Vidal Sassoon and American Crew Academies and has worked behind the chair since graduating from Aveda.  He has written salon curriculum, helped develop new salon products, been featured on stage at Aveda Congress Festivals and Master Jams, has produced several photo shoots and has frequently participated at New York Fashion Week. In 2005 Aveda honored Dusty by naming him a finalist for Men’s Stylist of the year.

Harry Wood IV   (sixfigurehairdresser.com)  is a 25-year veteran of the hair styling industry and is a leading stylist and coach for Van Michael Salons in Atlanta, GA. He is called upon to make frequent national TV appearances, having appeared on CBS (“The Morning Show”), FOX (mommy makeovers), The Learning Channel (“Extreme Makeovers”) and “Atlanta’s Biggest Loser.” In addition, Harry’s hair styling skills can be seen on episodes of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Bravo, “Kim of Queens” on Lifetime and “Chrisley Knows Best” on USA, and “The Haunting Of” on A&E.

Harry is owner and published author of “Six Figure Hairdresser,” “Six Figure Sales,” “Chronic Pain & Prevention,” in addition to “Set Ready Academy.” His frequent speaking engagements take him across the USA, educating hair stylists on how to become the most successful, self-driven stylists in the industry.

Harry was voted by Allure Magazine as one of the top stylists in the country, and has been featured in Modern Salon, Salon Today, American Salon, Elle, Marie Claire.

Currently, Harry is touring the United States to promote his brand, “Six Figure Hairdresser.” Harry’s materials offer practical steps for stylists to take their business to the next level. Although his target audience is stylists, his formula works for anyone in the beauty industry.
